Offer conceptionmoons for couples

Business Idea:

Making money by offering conceptionmoon vacations  to couples looking to have a baby.

Overview:

With an estimated 3 million women in the U.S. trying to conceive each year, the idea of providing conception vacations is taking hold in major resorts.

The idea of conceptionmoons, as the vacations are commonly nicknamed, is a concept that believe it or not is based on great marketing and of course sound research.  The increasing consensus among doctors and researchers is that stress can pose a major impediment to fertility.

The Westin Grand Bahama Island, which offers this type of "Procreation Vacation," is one of a growing number of hotels hoping to lure couples looking to conceive with promises of luxurious, relaxing and purposeful time to work on procreation. These hotel, and their baby making idea, follow on the heels of the traditional and well known honeymoon and the more recent babymoon.  The later being a trip aimed at cultivating some last chance romance for couples who are expecting. Whether you own a bed and breakfast or a company that makes chocolates or lingerie, this may be a chance to expand your market.

For vacation companies that may doubt the potential for these types of vacations, the fact is that the aphrodisiac-packed holidays are ringing true with couples. More than three-quarters of the members surveyed at a well known parenting reported taking a conceptionmoon while trying to get pregnant for reasons such as relaxation, rejuvenation and romance rekindling.
