Create an online magazine for people who want to work from home.

Cheryl Demas made a decision in 1994 that changed her life.  With her two children in mind, Cheryl decided to become a stay at home mom.  However, her plan did not include putting her career on hold.  As a professional, Cheryl had degree in mathematics and computer science, and had spent 11 years working at Honeywell and CableData.   While she wanted to continue contributing her skills to a worthy organization, Cheryl also wanted to do so by working from home.

The internet seemed to be a great place to research the various work at home possibilities, but as it turned out, most work from home opportunities proved to be little more than scams and schemes. 

Disappointed by the lack of legitimate work from home jobs, Cheryl launched a web site where she posted her thoughts about her home business experiences and the transition from being a working mom to an at-home mom.

As women in the same situation began contacting Cheryl, the site became more popular and more robust.  Soon after, WAHM.com was born. WAHM is an online magazine for Work at home moms.  The web site draws more than 2 million hits per month and is supported by advertiser revenue.
