 If you don’t have your own product or service to sell, a great alternative is to distribute someone else’s.

There are several ways to make money from other people’s products.  The most common approach is to buy goods, store them, and ship them out as sales are made.  However, it is also possible to attract customers but have the product manufacturer deliver directly to the buyer.  This is often called drop shipping.  Another approach to leveraging other people’s goods or services is to be a broker that connects prospective customers with companies, and get paid a commission for the lead, and or the sale. 

A variation of this money making method, is to sell bundled products or services that are provided by several firms.  Travel agents are a great example of this approach.  As an agent, you could make a handsome commission by bundling a complete travel plan for customers.  Agents can book a flight to and from the travel destination, provide a rental car, set up a hotel room for the entire stay, and provide tickets to several tours and attractions.  Each component comes from a separate source, but the package (the real value), is provided by the agent.
