Charge People To Give Them Free Time
There
are many things that need to be done on a daily basis, but require valuable
time to be spent doing them. Mowing the lawn, washing the car, doing
your taxes, and driving to work, are a few examples of activities that need
to take place but can be outsourced for a nominal fee. Entrepreneurs
can capitalize on people’s need to free up their schedules by taking on
the tasks themselves, for a fee. Convenience is an incredible driver
for people with the means to outsource inconvenient activities. You
can become a personal shopper, landscaper, tax preparer, or just about
anything that makes people’s lives a little more convenient. Taking the idea a step further, it is possible to go beyond services and include products that allow multitasking to take place. Recordings of books for example, allow people to drive, work or exercise, while they listen to the book’s contents. Along the same lines, pre-packaged foods save cooks lots or preparation time. Examples: Looking after livestock while owners are away When pet owners or farmers travel, they can't take their animals with them. That's where pet and livestock sitters come in. Help companies and individuals find available domain names for a profit. Store people's receipts online Allow people to store, organize and easily retrieve their receipts, virtually, on your site.
Get Paid To Distribute Other People’s Products If
you don’t have your own product or service to sell, a great alternative is
to distribute someone else’s. There are several ways to make money from other people’s products. The most common approach is to buy goods, store them, and ship them out as sales are made. However, it is also possible to attract customers but have the product manufacturer deliver directly to the buyer. This is often called drop shipping. Another approach to leveraging other people’s goods or services is to be a broker that connects prospective customers with companies, and get paid a commission for the lead, and or the sale. A
variation of this money making method, is to sell bundled products or
services that are provided by several firms. Travel agents are a great
example of this approach. As an agent, you could make a handsome
commission by bundling a complete travel plan for customers. Agents
can book a flight to and from the travel destination, provide a rental car,
set up a hotel room for the entire stay, and provide tickets to several
tours and attractions. Each component comes from a separate source,
but the package (the real value), is provided by the agent. Examples: Matching busy people with helpers Find helpers for people with too much to do and not enough time to do it. Greeting card delivery service Deliver greeting cards ahead of important dates, so registered clients can add personal comments and mail them.
